Managing Partner / Lead Career Transition
Elizabeth provides a full range of recruitment and career development services for clients in Atlantic Canada. She leads our practice in the provision of career transition services and programs. Drawing from her knowledge of assessment processes, competency development and job search techniques, she enables individuals to identify and target successful re-entry into employment situations that “fit” with their personal goals. She also supports the firm's recruitment projects by conducting in-depth industry research, preliminary applicant screenings, and comprehensive reference checks.
She has extensive experience in small business as a professional, highly motivated business owner and manager. Liz has successfully built several retail and service businesses, customizing approaches and products to meet customer needs. She has a sound knowledge of financial management, customer service, and human resource management.
Liz believes in giving back to her community. For her volunteer dedication to Girl Guides of Canada, she was awarded the Medal of Merit for outstanding contribution in various portfolios. As an avid sailor, she has also held various positions on committees with Tall Ships, Volvo World Your Sailing Championship, Canadian Opti Championships, and Disabled Sailing.
Liz is a graduate from Mount Saint Vincent University in Business Administration with a focus in Management and obtained a Certificate in Small Business Ownership Development from Henson College. She is certified in EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360, and is also a Registered Assessment Specialist and a member of the Canadian Association of Assessment Specialists.
