With a passion for change, Ellen brings knowledge of organizational effectiveness and strategic talent development experience to the Talent Management Advisory team. Having worked in the public and private sectors, Ellen provides her expertise to clients to help strengthen the bond between talent and strategy.
At Royer Thompson, Ellen advises and supports organizations to reach their maximum potential through implementation of human resource best practices, research methodologies, and collaboration with clients for success and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Royer Thompson, she worked with the Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, where she participated in recruitment processes including screening of candidates, coordinating interviews and logistics, preparing letters of offer and facilitating orientation programming.
She is a graduate of Acadia University F.C. Manning School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration and majored in Employment Relations and is a member of CPHR Nova Scotia.
Ellen is an active community volunteer and leader who mentors youth at risk in local communities, and champions the merits of fitness through aquatics. Ellen is energetic and passionate about collaborating, learning and contributing to successful human resource outcomes.
