Emily brings a foundation of human resources best practices and relationship building capabilities to our Talent Management, Career Transition and Executive Recruitment teams.
At Royer Thompson, Emily supports organizations to reach their maximum potential through the offering of human resources advisory services, research methodologies, and collaboration with clients for success and organizational effectiveness. She also supports our executive recruitment practice, by sourcing & interviewing candidates, creating recruitment materials, and being the point of contact for clients & search committees.
Prior to joining Royer Thompson, she worked with MOBIA Technology Innovations where she provided administrative support to the human resources team. She also completed a human resources internship with Innovacorp where she participated in the recruitment process, helped with policy development and provided research support. Emily has two years of experience working in the contact center industry with Accor Hotels and Co-operators Insurance and therefore understands the importance of having a strong customer focus and building positive client relationships.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Allison University with a major in International Relations and a minor in French. She is also a graduate of NSCC with an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management. Emily is a CPHR candidate and is working towards obtaining her CPHR designation.
