Marion is an experienced executive, having served as President of GCI Canada for over a decade, a member company of WPP the world’s chief communications services group, she provided strategic communications and business advice to national and international companies. She is particularly proud that GCI had been recognized as one of the Globe and Mail Top 100 Companies to Work For Within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) in 2015, 2016 and 2017 out of over a 1,000 applicant companies annually. Marion was also Vice President, Corporate Communications, Nortel Networks, formerly one of the world’s largest telecommunications providers.
Marion brings her depth of practical and personal experience to our Executive Coaching and Career Transition clients. Marion’s approach is to support professional in reflection and in making choices that will champion them in leading lives that are more enriching for themselves, their teams, and organizations. Her experience leading and living through large scale downsizing helps her offer valuable perspective and insights to her career transition clients.
Marion holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds her ICD.D. certification. She is on the Board of Canadian Feed the Children and chairs their nomination and governance committee. She also serves on the Executive Committee of IWF Canada (International Women’s Forum) and on the Board of OpenMedia. She is a member of their talent committee and a member of the Mount Saint Vincent University Advancement & External Relations Committee.
Marion was a Team Leader for the Ryerson University Lifeline Syria Challenge assisting a Syrian refugee family in resettling to Canada as part of the Canadian Government private sponsorship initiative.
