The Vice President, Development & Construction, reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for Cresco’s design build operation, leading profitable, high-quality low-rise housing and commercial construction business lines, working in a dynamic and growth-driven ecosystem. The Vice President will support a diverse and talented team in its contributions to progressive design, creative problem-solving, sustainable design and environmental principles, effective project planning, budgeting and scheduling, as well as marketing, sales and leasing. A member of the leadership team, the Vice President, Development & Construction, leads and integrates cross-functional construction disciplines, fostering efficiency and innovation in procurement and in construction practice’s. In collaboration with the leadership team, the Vice President will continue to develop the vision and strategy management initiatives to achieve Cresco’s goals.
The role requires an individual with an outstanding track record of collaboration with owners, employees, regulators, planners, and key real estate partners such as trades and partner-builders. The successful candidate has a university degree or relevant experience in construction management, engineering, architecture, or business and at least 7 years at the leadership level with exceptional design build operations, project management, or real estate development experience. Knowledge spanning home building and commercial construction, as well as land development, is an asset, as is knowledge of sustainability and green practices in home and community building.
