Reporting to the President, the Vice President, Environmental Services (VP) is a key member of the Strum senior management team, a client and team centered professional who will lead and support Strum Consulting’s environmental consulting practice in the Region. The mandate is to lead Strum’s growth and impact through quality, integrity, and technical competence. The VP will assist, mentor and develop a staff of technical experts through the oversight, coordination, and supervision of work, projects, and activities that maximize client service and optimize resources. The VP will engage in delivering services to key clients such as project planning and management, environmental impact assessment, public consultation, and regulatory support. The VP will be a key contributor in regional strategic planning along with building and strengthening client relationships and supporting business development.

The ideal candidate has 15 years of relevant environmental consulting experience managing a portfolio of projects and a significant background in the leadership of a team of technical professionals. With a degree in Biology, Ecology or related environmental discipline at a minimum, the VP will have detailed knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations, as well as an understanding of other environmental permitting requirements. This senior leader is a highly motivated individual with strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills, confidence in representing Strum in the market and with clients. They have a growth mindset, a positive attitude, a desire for team success, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
