Driven by a commitment to continued growth, innovation and excellence in project execution, Lindsay Construction is recruiting a Vice President, Operations to play a key role in strengthening and optimizing operational efficiency, scalability and project execution outcomes in support of the company’s vision and growth plans.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President is an integral member of Lindsay Construction’s senior leadership team, accountable for working closely with and aligning functional and project teams, processes and systems to ensure that the highest standards of safety, quality and customer service excellence are met – the Lindsay Way.
The Vice President is responsible for developing and implementing operational and project strategies that foster accountability, consistency and quality of work across project teams. A progressive people leader, they are skilled at influencing others and inspire teams to perform at their best and align efforts to drive success. The Vice President is a highly collaborative leader with a reputation for building trusted relationships with employees and customers and applying a continuous improvement and customer-centric lens in all that they do.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of related senior operational leadership experience with proven success leading teams and organizations through growth and change. Post-secondary education or training in a relevant field (i.e. business, finance, engineering) is preferred. The Vice President is a results-oriented and highly organized leader with a demonstrated track record of executing on strategic objectives through strong people leadership and influence. A people-focused leader, they are adept at building and supporting high performing teams and cultures. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial reporting management and budget management and brings project management, planning and scheduling experience to their role. A forward-thinking leader, the Vice President is relentless in their pursuit of operational excellence and performance through people, innovation and best practice.
