Reporting to the President, the Vice President Real Estate Management, is a key member of the senior management team, overseeing a team of property managers, guest service managers and technical experts who uphold the highest standards of service excellence, and who oversees a large commercial and residential property portfolio. They establish goals, priorities and key metrics; manage people and budgets; provide oversight on building operations; make recommendations on capital investment and oversee contractors and project management on refits and ongoing maintenance.

The Vice President Real Estate Management is a natural leader of people with exceptional management skills. They are an innovative and strategic leader who excels at being proactive with their team in evaluating risks and solving issues in a creative and timely manner. Strong business acumen compliments their ability to present recommendations based on sound analysis. The Vice President supports the team in achieving high levels of individual and organizational performance with exemplary attention to detail and consistently evaluates decisions in terms of impact on the business, its strategy, and its brand. They have an intergenerational and entrepreneurial mindset.

The successful candidate has an at least 10 years of management experience, ideally with knowledge of real estate, contributing at the senior leadership level and building a strong team of professionals, committed to a culture of operational excellence, customer service, with a continuous improvement orientation. They have a track record of managing budgets, projects and strong negotiation, collaboration and problem-solving skills. A post-secondary education in a related discipline and a professional designation are considered assets..
